This interview reveals her transformational story from when Lisa served time at a prison camp to overcoming that circumstance to become the successful entrepreneur she is today.
Lisa, what’s an interestingly weird fact about yourself?
I’m an avid reader, love to cook, and I spend the majority of time in sweat pants, shirts and pony tails.
Being who you are is the key to success.
How did your journey as an entrepreneur all begin?
I was always an entrepreneur in training, but never realized it.
My mothers business took off and I ended up in the family business kicking and screaming.
Can’t think of anything worst then working with your fam.
My family put the dys into dysfunctional.
The government came to me to testify about my mother in an investigation going on.
So I hired an attorney and they said no big deal.
Then in 1995 there was an article that said, joint task force to investigate health care fraud… etc.
I said no thank you, they indited my mom, my husband and I.
Then cut a deal with the federal government.
Ended up cutting a deal where I pay a fine and go to a prison camp for a year to get my husband off the hook and to keep my mom out of prison.
This was a 2 year process and such a frightening time.
Was hell on earth.
I’m a go big or go home type of person.
I felt sorry for myself and spent 3 months being miserable.
Then I decided to change something with Kim who was most amazing person in the community.
She had an amazing attitude even though she had 8 years.
“Where do you wanna be 9 months from now?”
You have to walk before you run as an entrepreneur.
I started teaching personal development courses and read the bible 15 times.
Went home and reconnected with network marketing for fun.
Met a lot of people and loved the attitudes of those in network marketing.
I became a professional at understanding people in the prison camp.
This all happened in 1997, got out in 1998, and in 2000 helped friends get a company off the ground.
Prior to this experience 200K was my best year in network marketing.
Then I made 1.2 million the first year.
What’s your Big Reason Why?
Making a difference.
Also like to see what’s next.
The biggest gift is helping others.
What’s the vision of Lisa Grossmann look like for the future?
Network marketing next generation hybrid and building a community of consumers in the eCommerce world.
My vision of the future is internet marketing and network marketing coming back to each other.
