Learn the Art of creating a successful Launch with Jermaine in this exclusive Weird Entrepreneurs interview.
Interestingly weird fact:
I use to work in restaurants so I’m always cleaning around home.
How did your journey begin as an entrepreneur?
I was a trouble child growing up.
My mother raised me growing up, I didn’t have a father.
I wanted to get out of the living situation we were in, we lived in 1 bedroom apartments with not the best things in life.
Around age 15 or 16 I got a job doing fast food but wanted something better in life.
As I got to 15 my mother told me, “If you don’t get a job by the time you’re 16 you’re out of the house.”
Fast forward, worked my way up from $4 an hour to about $30 an hour as a restaurant manager in 2004.
I always wanted something more, base my life on growth and always wanted to be gradually growing.
Then in 2011 I was terminated making $70-80K a year at my job.
In late 2009 I had this vision to just go online and search for ways to make money online.
Got sucked into buy this, goto this event, buy this training course, etc.
Started doing Click Bank stuff and playing around with niche blogs, started making money here and there playing around part time.
In middle of 2010 before I got fired the writing was on the wall.
What’s your secret to engineering successful launches on JVZOO?
F. oundation – It takes a foundation which is your brand to be in place.

Slow down to speed up I tell them often.
Product launches are about giving back to the market place.
Big Reason Why and what do you want to be remembered for?
My why is to be there for my kids like my father wasn’t and take them to travel around the world and live in the now.
Then legacy of my name being carried on along with my legacy helping thousands of people to realize their full potential.
Biggest Temporary Defeat:
You should believe there is greatness there.
In June of 2012 I met you (Justin Verrengia) first at that event.
I didn’t believe at that point I can do $20K or $30K a month like we done.
Weirdest Breakthrough Experience:
Called my sponsor before the event in Atlanta in June of 2012 and told him I can’t make it to the event.
He said get a piece of paper and write something down.
Write down the amount you need.
I wrote down $2K and he said, “Now go out there and get it.”
I went from not having $2K to having $3K in 48 hours.
