Dan has started and built 3 of his own supplement businesses and sold two of them, enjoying two different bouts of mini-retirement.
He has recently been hired by a $600 million/year company to help them start a brand new supplement division.
He has been publishing “The Doberman Dan Letter” since 2011 and has many of the most successful direct marketers in the world as subscribers.
Dan has written hundreds of successful ads, direct mail packages, websites, e-mail marketing campaigns, feature articles, and newsletters.
His ads and articles have appeared in Entrepreneur, Investors Business Daily, Penthouse, MuscleMag International, Flex, Muscle & Fitness, Men’s Edge, IronMan, Muscular Development, Reps!, Exercise For Men Only, Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness, The National Enquirer Weekly World News, and numerous mainstream newspapers and magazines.
Interestingly Weird Fact?
Most people who know me know I’m a musician but what I hardly ever talk about is I did musical theatre.
I was into singing, dancing, and acting, my biggest crowd I performed in was 300-400 people at each show.
I’m a musician and been playing guitar and singing to people since I was 7.
How did your journey as an entrepreneur all begin?
I use to think we were middle class but we’re just poor.
My mom was dirt poor.
Nobody ever talked about setting goals or career paths.
I wanted to be in a full time musical and tried it.
I searched classifieds so I needed money so I became a night watcher because I needed the money.
I did that gig and hated it but I was in security which lead to other security gigs which lead to getting job at a department store at loss prevention which lead me to meeting local cops which lead me to taking the test to become a police officer.
Got the job with the city of Daten, did that for 12 years.
Hated it after the first 2 years at the police department.
I was a full time cop, and a part time entrepreneur.
Tried business after business that lead me broke and miserable.
Then i discovered Dan Kennedy and bought his system which lead me to direct response and copyrighting.
After 9 years of continuous failures, did my first business that worked in 1995.
The mail order business appealed to me because I don’t have to talk to anyone.
What’s the Vision of Doberman Dan look like for the future?
Recently been getting rid of the 80% I’m not good at or don’t want to do in my life and doing the 20% I love that makes my life rock.
Living a happy life.
Best Entrepreneurial Advice?
I have seen a lot of money be made and a lot of insanely good things happen from wrong actions.
I’ve seen nothing good come out of non-action.

If needed to make money fast I would get on social media and start connecting with people who are most likely to use my service.
