Diane has been a stay at home mom and marketer for the past 15 years.
Starting from scratch with homemade how-to booklets and brochures she built a mail order business in the network marketing industry with a health and nutrition company.
Since then Diane has expanded into affiliate marketing, coaching, information marketing, training and speaking.
Today, the Home And Small Business Network is one of the most respected sources for quality training, honest information and putting the FUN back in business fundamentals.
Having one numerous awards, trips, cash prizes and with two multi-six figure launches under her belt, Diane has conquered all facets of running a successful home business.
Today her focus is on paying it forward to the next generation of marketers who yearn to find the freedom that Diane has located for her family.
Diane, what’s an interestingly weird fact about yourself?
I am just down right weird.
I’m an all out being and always doing something weird, I’m just weird.
How did your journey as an entrepreneur all begin?
It turned out to be an opportunity meeting.
Was in education previously.
Left my job when I became pregnant with my daughter.
Fun things that I love:
- Travel, I’m a big travel freak.
- Family time
- Working with folks.
I did really well out of the gate.
When I dried out my warm market, then I hit a wall.
I call myself an online networker.
The internet me the ability to do work but do it from her home with my baby.
Big Reason Why:
I decided paying off my debt and getting back to normal life.
Today my daughters are 18 and 21, and next year I am childless.
My why now is changing, helping people who are struggling to become successful.
Diane, what was your biggest temporary defeat?
I’ve always made money, a full time living and more.
Many times I was burnt out and frustrated, lost everything, and all business was gone.
Diane, please tell us more about “The Home And Small Business Network.”
Basically it’s an organization of folks with home and small businesses.
We talk about concepts and such on marketing but important to me to get down to the fundamentals of marketing which includes networking, speech patterns, etc.
I created this network back in 2007.
What’s been your weirdest breakthrough experience?
Understanding that people will respond to you as a being human, especially when there are so many people trying to be a certain way.
What’s the vision of Diane Hochman look like for the future?
Personal life, fun getting back to being a couple.
A lot of travel, my husband just started doing counseling with people.
Deciding what does my business look life.
In the past I avoided having big structure business on purpose.
I been able to make really great money from home but it’s time to put in more infrastructure, more info products.
Best Entrepreneur Advice:
If you own a home business keep it simple and focus on bringing in revenue.
Focus on simplicity.
Really focus on building a list that knows you and trust you.
