On the surface, his life looks quite “normal”… But years before finding his passion and purpose in helping entrepreneurs use the power of email and messaging in a very unique way through his Email Profits Boot Camp…
He found himself bankrupt, losing his home, cars and with one daughter and another on the way — something needed to change, fast.
Fast forward to today and he’s become the “go-to” resource for email and marketing strategy for entrepreneurs and online marketers spanning 21 markets in over 5 countries, including some of the most well-known affiliate marketing systems today.
Interestingly Weird Fact?
I get called an introvert a lot but i think I’m a hermit.
Introverts are how you get your energy back.
Hermits like being alone or in small groups.
I don’t have a big group of friends, its just me and my family.
How did your entrepreneurial journey all begin?
I was put into a box as a child, put into a box of being that guy that supported everyone else.
When I was around 25/26 I started becoming very upset everyday when I had to getup and goto work.
I wanted the ability to control my time and projects I involved myself in so started looking for different ways to make money from home.
Joined my friend in network marketing, in a couple month I paid for my brother to sign up.
I failed miserably.
That failure didn’t resonate as a failure with being in business, just meant I needed another avenue.
I was being taught how to build this home business and as a hermit it was totally against who I was at my core.
Found a system online that seemed to be working for a lot of other people.
Joined a email list and started getting these emails written in a way where every message I received I couldn’t ignore.
I always had these burst of creativity as a child but it never went through the right channels.
But this was different where I started digging deep into how I could generate leads online and sell things strictly though email.
4 and a half years later I probably written 5-10K emails to my own list and clients.
I write 2 emails a day without fail.
Became confident after a couple of years, it took me a long time to find my own voice cause I didn’t know what I believed at the time.
The best thing you can do is understand who you’re selling to/writing to and understand their day to day life.
Big Reason Why?
I wanna have my children understand that they were cared for in a way that is unique and that the were loved and given everything humanly possible that would help them live a great life.
I also want to fulfill the promises that I made to my wife and children when I had them.
My goal is to fulfill that. That’s the legacy I want to leave.
I want to be remembered by as a great authentic, ethical man who never quit going after what he believed in.
Biggest Temporary Defeat?
When we lost everything, I was in the insurance agency working behind the scenes.
I got into sales and being a broker and got this 1 client who was an old lady, Holocaust survivor.
At the time I lost the job I was working at and had $30K in credit card debt.
We lost our home, my wife was pregnant.
They took away our car and we were in our in-laws house.
How can you go on knowing you just wiped your family clean.
So in that moment I realized at any point in time however great you’re doing, it’s just 1 decision away whether you’re able to keep that or not so I decided it will never be someone else decision who pays the bills it will always be mine.
