Aaron, what’s an interestedly weird fact about yourself?
I speak 60% of Thai.
How did your journey as an entrepreneur all begin?
Went to my first event in late 2009.
Made a decision to never get another job in my life.
In 2010 I met my mentor at an event in London.
I was only making $300 a month blogging at the time and my mentor taught me how to make a few thousand a month.
My first product launch “Push Button Money” did over 600K.
I decided to live in Thailand for 6 months to learn from my mentor.
As an internet entrepreneur you can live anywhere.
They are laid back and not serious about life.
It’s a happy go lucky place.
My favorite city in Thailand is Chiang Mai, I have 20 megs Internet speed in my house, and fiber optics.
Thailand is not yet a first world country but things like the Internet is great.
In general it’s a bit rough around the edges.
It only cost about $250-300 a month for rent.
Big Reason Why:
When I started, it was because I wanted to show my friends and family what is possible because I just quit University and everyone doubted me.
Now my goals have changed, it’s all about getting to a point where my passive income exceeds money I require to live my desired lifestyle, that’s true meaning of wealth.
Biggest Temporary Defeat:
During the launch I was plain sailing, was just pushed by reason why of not giving up and showing friends and fam I could do this and it’s possible for you too.
Setback was that I was on welfare, it was demoralizing to do that.
I remember having my X girlfriend come over to visit and I didn’t tell her I was on welfare.
Best Entrepreneur Advice:
Focus on 1 thing. Put all your energy into it.
What’s the vision of Aaron Darko look like for the future?
My vision is to create a company, a start up company. I want to work for a maximum of the next 10 years of my life and build something that outlast myself.
